Alana Wall holds a B.S. in exercise science from Morehead State University and a Master of Science degree in health education, with an emphasis in community health, from the University of Cincinnati. She has been working in the fitness industry since 2010.
Alana is a certified ACE Personal Trainer and Health Coach, an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Biomechanics Method Corrective Exercise Specialist, and she has a Level 1 Boxing certification through the California-based Box ‘N Burn Academy. She is also trained on movement efficiency and functional training and is currently pursuing a Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification through ACE.
Alana’s favorite thing about training is building relationships with her clients and providing them with the resources necessary to improve their overall health and well-being. “We all are always learning something new! That’s what I love about this field. The fitness industry is always evolving and growing.”
She loves to attend workshops and training, staying current on the fitness and wellness industry so she can give her clients the best overall experience possible in each session.
While most trainers grow up in a sport/recreational setting, Alana came to this profession through a corporate fitness setting. She attended group exercise classes, trained with a personal trainer, and participated in wellness incentive programming to improve her own health. It was then that Alana’s passion for fitness as a lifestyle grew. She decided that she wanted to instill that same passion and drive in others to help them live a healthier lifestyle to be able to do all daily living activities and more.
Alana believes it’s important to meet each client where they are, on their fitness and wellness journey, to help keep them healthy, safe, and successful in life.
